Digital artist and photographer
Matteo Verre was born in Livorno on October 30th, 1986.
He attended a scientific studies and after graduation, in 2005/06 he enrolled in the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Pisa, after two years and excellent results , however, decides to follow one that has always been his passion and he changes the faculty enrolling in the Science of cultural Heritage, history of contemporary Art at the University of Pisa . At the same time, he began to approach the world of art not only at the theoretical level, with the first processed photographic portraiture linked to a more traditional model, until 2010, when , in the wake of his passion for surrealism, he begins the first experiments on the digital manipulation, this field who still explores in his work, treating the works under an almost painterly aspect, rather than photographic in the strict sense.
He participated in numerous group exhibitions his hometown, among them " 20x20 " at " La Svolta " with 3 works which will then pass to the " Circolo degli artisti " of Rome.
November 2010 exhibits 30 works in the solo exhibition " Sur . realisme .. " at the theater Cral Eni's Livorno
May 2013 he is selected and invited to participate in " art Prize literary cafe " , where he exhibited four works at the premises of the literary Cafe in Rome
February 2014: is selected for the “Biennale of Creativity” in Verona, inaugurated by Vittorio Sgarbi, participating with the works "Time" and “Doublethink".
March 2014: is selected and participates in the exhibition "Barcelona art festival" at the ADA Art Gallery in Barcelona with the work “Manièra”
June 2014: is selected and participates in “Esposizione Triennale di arti visive” in Rome, inaugurated by Achille Bonito Oliva, with the work "XI (Vesti la Giubba)” Read Less
