Gil Lavi is a New York based photographer who brings a vision that is informed by his diverse cultural experience. His photographs have recently been exhibited at the Laurie M. Tisch Gallery in New York, The New York Photo Festival and The Los Angeles Month of Photography.

At the age of 21, following his service as military photographer, Lavi established his own commercial photography and brand imagery consulting studio, serving clients worldwide. Two years later, Forbes magazine recognized Lavi as one of the 300 most successful Israelis under 40. Soon after, the Israeli government hired Lavi to create the photographic concept and imagery for Israel's rebranding initiative.

Since then, many organizations have acknowledged his work, including PDN, Photography Monthly, F8, the Lucie Foundation and Popular Photography. Awards include the 2010 IAA Silver award for excellence in Commercial, Advertising & Fashion Photography.

Lavi is a contributing photographer for Wired, Time Out and Technology Review.
