Union Pacific’s Home Plate Passes

  • Objective: Create a guest experience that connects the history of Union Pacific to the history of baseball during the College World Series. For the agency, in this case the canvas was completely blank. Union Pacific didn’t even have a name for their even destination. The photos were historic. The design was iconic. The typography was graphic. And by the end of the College World Series, the client was ecstatic. The guests received a deft weaving of art and information. The past – for baseball and Union Pacific – was placed on a pedestal. The destination in its first year had a sense of gravitas that wouldn’t have been present without the design.
