In this project we took traditional watch manuals online by making interactive videos that are simple and clear to understand.
The videos are available on omegwatches.com or Omega's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTY9U-IYfnbUYGYUtiwV-INMPL268q7EA).
A customer who buys a watch will be able to quickly find instructions on setting their timepiece by looking up their model name or number. Upcoming updates include more watches available with the added functionality of chapter markers to get to specific functions quiickly.
This is a huge step online for the company, and shows their interest in improving the customer's experience. Internally this collection of videos will be used as a reference and training tool for shop staff and customer service.
Getting through this amount of highly technical information was not easy, but Alpha pulled together the talents of motion graphics artist Nigel Upchurch (http://www.nigelupchurch.com), sound designers SayThankYou (http://saythankyou.co.za) and some 30 technical members of staff within OMEGA. Thanks to all for a great working experience and fantastic commitment to the project.
